AMB supply the majority of the hot steel rolling mills in UK with entry & exit guide rolls, manufactured in tool steel and Stellite deposited. Wear parts utilised in brick manufacture and other industries subject to high wear are also manufactured to standard and custom design. AMB have a comprehensive, fully equipped machining facility specialising in the finishing of hard coatings. Our machine shop offers excellent quality with prompt deliveries at a competitive prices. Components can be supplied in a proof machined condition or as a fully machined part. Single component or multi-batch requirement are equally welcomed. Surfacing processes available to AMB on-site include: PTA, TIG, Oxy/Acetylene & Powder Weld Welder approvals and procedures qualified to ASME IX, and validated to Lloyds register. In addition to manufacture of new components, AMB offer a reconditioning service for many Stellite parts and are always willing to advise on applications for our hard-facing capabilities. The exceptional hot hardness properties of the Stellite cobalt based alloys make it an ideal alloy for hot processing operations. AMB have over 30 years experience in manufacture and refurbishment of hot forging and handling equipment. AMB are able to offer high integrity Stellite and Colmonoy coatings on martensitic, high hardenablility steels. With our controlled furnace capabilities, we can now offer pre and post weld heat treatments essential to the repair and manufacture using the preferred materials of modern industry.
